Terms & Conditions

Maggie’s Interior Textiles

1. General

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Maggie’s Interior Textiles. By proceeding with a consultation, quotation or order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Consultations

A free, no-obligation consultation is offered within the local area. For appointments further afield, a travel fee may apply depending on distance. Any applicable charges will always be discussed prior to confirming an appointment.

Consultations may include measuring, fabric sample selection and general project advice.

3. Quotations

All quotations are provided based on measurements taken during consultation and the fabrics, finishes and fittings selected at the time.

Quotations are valid for 30 days, after which prices may be subject to change due to supplier pricing.

4. Orders & Deposits

Once fabrics and specifications are confirmed, a deposit may be required before work begins or materials are ordered.

Due to the bespoke nature of made-to-measure items, orders cannot be cancelled once materials have been ordered or work has commenced.

5. Bespoke Products

All curtains, blinds and soft furnishings produced by Maggie’s Interior Textiles are made to measure and bespoke to each individual customer.

For this reason, once an order has been confirmed and materials have been ordered or work has begun, items cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged unless a fault in workmanship has occurred.

Customers are encouraged to carefully review fabric choices, measurements and specifications before confirming their order.

6. Alterations & Existing Curtains

Where alterations are carried out on existing curtains or furnishings supplied by the customer, Maggie’s Interior Textiles cannot accept responsibility for any existing wear, fabric weaknesses or previous alterations that may affect the final result.

7. Customer Supplied Fabrics

Where customers choose to supply their own fabrics or materials, Maggie’s Interior Textiles is happy to work with these where suitable.

However, due to the increased risk of issues such as fabric flaws, insufficient material, pattern irregularities or unforeseen handling difficulties, a 25% surcharge will be applied to the labour cost when working with customer-supplied materials.

This helps cover additional time, care and potential complications that can arise when fabrics have not been sourced through our usual trusted suppliers.

While every effort will be made to handle customer-supplied materials with care, Maggie’s Interior Textiles cannot be held responsible for faults within the fabric itself, including manufacturing defects, shrinkage, pattern inconsistencies or weaknesses in the material.

8. Measurements

Where Maggie’s Interior Textiles provides measuring services, every effort will be made to ensure accuracy.

If customers choose to provide their own measurements, Maggie’s Interior Textiles cannot accept responsibility for errors resulting from incorrect measurements. Any additional work required due to incorrect measurements may incur additional charges.

9. Fabric & Material Variations

Fabric colours, textures and finishes may vary slightly between samples and final products due to manufacturing processes, dye batches and lighting conditions.

Where fabrics are supplied through third-party manufacturers, Maggie’s Interior Textiles cannot be held responsible for variations outside of our control.

10. Installation & Fitting

Where fitting or installation services are arranged, these may be carried out by a trusted third-party fitter.

While every effort is made to ensure quality workmanship, Maggie’s Interior Textiles cannot be held responsible for structural issues within the property that may affect installation (such as unsuitable walls, plasterwork or fixtures).

11. Lead Times

Lead times may vary depending on fabric availability, supplier timelines and workload. Estimated completion times will always be discussed with the client, however delays outside of our control may occasionally occur.

12. Fabric Behaviour & Natural Movement

All fabrics are subject to natural characteristics including stretching, relaxation, and slight shrinkage over time. Environmental factors such as sunlight, humidity and heating can also affect fabric behaviour.

These natural changes are not considered faults and Maggie’s Interior Textiles cannot be held responsible for fabric movement that occurs after installation.

13. Payment

Final payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

14. Liability

Every effort is made to ensure the highest standard of workmanship and service. Maggie’s Interior Textiles shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of its services or products.

15. Changes to Terms

Maggie’s Interior Textiles reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on the website.
